Chemical reaction-Alkaline versus Acid

Alkaline

milk, water, coffee, rasberry, cordial.

Acid

pineapple, juice, Coke, vinegar, tomato sauce.

I predict: The things with acid will rise, but the things with alkaline from the reaction of bicarbonate soda will not rise because it's flat.

What happened:

Alkaline

milk: The milk did not change very much but it smelled very bad.

coffee: Coffee reacted a little bit but it still smelled like coffee.

rasberry cordial: The rasberry cordial did react a little bit and changed the colour.

Acid

Pineapple juice: The pineapple juice reacted it raised a little bit and starting turning white on the top but on the bottom it was still yellow.

Coke: Coke reacted a little bit we all thought that it was going to react the best.

Tomato sauce: At first we thought that tomato sauce alkaline but it looked like it was the acid because it raised more than the other acid things.

Vinegar: With the vinger we were all ready we got white paper and we all moved back and when Dragon fly got a spoon and put it in and it stated to raise and raise it was the best of all we did.

Dressing up for dinner

Dressing up for dinner

You will need a large block of chocolate, a flat tin plate, a knife and a fork, a dice, and an old hat and coat. The guests sit in a circle with the chocolate, plate, knife, fork, hat, coat etc In the middle.

Each person rolls the dice. If a six is thrown the player gets up, run to the centre, puts on the hat and then pick up the knife and fork and begins to eat the chocolate. One square is cut off at a time, and that must be just with fingers before the next piece is cut off.

While the player is eating the rest of the team takes it in turn to throw the dice. When another six is thrown, that guest runs to the centre takes the hat and coat from the previous person, gets dressed and begins to cut the chocolate.

(If many six are thrown one after the other, there is a big rush as people begin to put on the coat only to have another person race out and take it after them.
